Flask Flask of the Magisters Mastery. The best flask for Preservation.
Combat potion Potion of Recklessness The strongest potion for this spec. Use it with your big cooldowns. Light's Potential is the simpler pick if your secondary stats are evenly spread.
Health potion Concentrated Silvermoon Health Potion Healing in combat. It doesn't share a cooldown with Healthstones, so you can use both.
Mana potion Lightfused Mana Potion Restores mana for healers and mana-based casters.
Food Hearty Silvermoon Parade Hearty food keeps its buff when you die. A group feast. On your own, eat Royal Roast instead.
Augment rune Void-Touched Augment Rune Raises your Intellect. It's expensive and is lost when you die, so save it for progression.
Weapon oil Thalassian Phoenix Oil Lasts an hour. Reapply it after it wears off.

Head
Raises Leech.
Shoulders
Raises Leech, which heals you for part of the damage and healing you do.
Chest
Raises your primary stat.
Legs
Raises Intellect and your maximum mana.
Feet
Raises Leech and Stamina.
Both rings
Raises Mastery.
Main hand
Your spells and abilities can grant Might of the Void, raising your primary stat for a short time.

First socket
Raises your primary stat and your maximum mana, more for each different color of Midnight gem you have socketed.
Indecipherable Eversong Diamond works just as well.
Every other socket
Raises Mastery and Haste.
With Telluric, use one each of these four gems, then Quick Amethyst in the rest.
